Kate Middleton was born in the Royal Berkshire Hospital, Reading, as the eldest of 3 siblings Carole Elizabeth Middleton (born in England in 1955 with the real name Carole Elizabeth Goldsmith), a flight attendant and Michael Francis Middleton (born in England in 1949), a steward then became a flight planner crew for British Airways. Both then opened a Business Party Pieces, a service company that sells party supplies and decorations. Kate's younger siblings are Philippa Charlotte Middleton ("Pippa" Middleton), born in 1983 and James William Middleton (born 1987).
